                                             AN IMPORTANT UPDATE 

After an incredible journey, I will no longer be a candidate for the U.S. Senate after we were unable to qualify for the ballot. 

In the weeks leading up to the deadline, our family faced a series of unexpected challenges. Our vehicle suffered a major failure, my wife was hospitalized—where we learned we're expecting our fourth child—and I was hospitalized after what was initially believed to be a stroke. We later learned that severe spinal nerve damage was affecting the strength and function of my left side. 

As a veteran, I've spent much of my life learning to push through adversity rather than talk about it. Asking for help and showing vulnerability did not come easily, and I stayed quiet longer than I should have. 

To every volunteer, donor, supporter, friend, and person who believed in what we were trying to accomplish: thank you. 

While this campaign has ended, my commitment to public service, community, and the issues that brought us together has not. I'm proud to support Angie Nixon for U.S. Senate, Dana Foster for Governor, and many outstanding candidates working to serve communities across Florida. 

And now, a new chapter begins. 

Through Story Ave Productions, I'll continue telling stories that matter through film, documentaries, podcasts, and original entertainment—exploring our history, our culture, our challenges, and the things that connect us. 

This isn't goodbye. It's Chapter One.
